Finding your path…
A sacred space to write, reflect, and remember every step of your Camino — from your first intention to your last day home.
"I've done three Caminos and never had a way to truly hold the experience. This changed everything."

A Pilgrim's Journal
A quiet record of the inner and outer journey.
The Camino is a profoundly personal journey — physical, emotional, and for many people, spiritual. This journal exists to help you be present to all of it. To notice what you're feeling, capture what you're learning, and have something real to hold when it's over.
Across the journal you'll see a small In Book toggle next to certain fields. This controls whether that piece of writing is included if you ever export your journey as a printed book.
Toggle on — it appears in the book. Toggle off — it stays here, private, just for you.
Some things you'll write just for yourself — raw, not ready to share, not meant for anyone else. Turn the toggle off for those. The journal is entirely yours. The book is only ever what you choose to put in it.
☀️ Summer (Jun–Sep): Focus on breathable fabrics and sun protection. Leave the puffer jacket at home.
Your pack should weigh no more than 10% of your body weight before water and snacks. Every item you add will be carried over mountains and into your bunk at 2pm when your body is begging to rest. The question isn't "might I need this?" — it's "will I use this almost every day?" The Camino provides. You can always buy what you forgot. You can't buy back the energy spent carrying something you didn't need.
Most countries have a pilgrims' association where you can order your credential before you leave. US pilgrims can order at americanpilgrims.org. Or pick it up at the Pilgrim Office in the town where you begin your Camino — you'll also receive your very first stamp there.
You don't need to be a seasoned hiker. But walking 20–28km every day for 35 days is different from any single long walk you've done before — it's the repetition that tests you. Train gradually, train in your actual gear, and trust that your body will adapt. The goal isn't fitness. It's familiarity.
Your shoes, your socks, and your pack — tested together on long days before you leave. A blister in week one of the Camino is manageable. Discovering your shoes don't fit on day three of the Pyrenees is not.
Looking for some inspiration for your journal? Choose a reflection below — or simply write freely about your day.
🔒 Use the In book toggle on each field to mark it private — sensitive entries stay out of your Blurb book.
"When today did you feel fully alive?"
"What challenged you today?"
This evolves daily. What is becoming clearer?
One song. The one that played in your head today, or the one you'd choose to soundtrack this day.
The Camino is behind you now — but it lives within you. Reflect on the whole of your journey.
🔒 Toggle In book on each field to control what appears in your Blurb export.
